Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime event with the Mamos (Indigenous Holy Men) and Zaga (Female Priestess) from three tribes in the High Sierra Mountains in Colombia, South America, as they bring their sacred knowledge of nature and balance to the Island of Nantucket.
Because of Nantucket's unique biodiversity and proximity to the Gulf Stream and the Atlantic Ocean, it is important to honor the Earth's natural flow and rhythms. Centuries ago, the original native inhabitants of the Island, the Wampanoag, understood the importance of the island's natural state and worked in harmony with its ecosystem.
We will gather at a sacred space on the Island to be determined by the Mamos in their dreamtime when they are there. The Mamos consult with the land and the nature spirits to determine where our payments to nature need to occur.
