About the Event
Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime event with the Mamos (Indigenous Holy Men) and Zaga (Female Priestess) from three tribes in the High Sierra Mountains in Colombia, South America, as they bring their sacred knowledge of nature and balance to the Island of Nantucket.
Because of Nantucket's unique biodiversity and proximity to the Gulf Stream and the Atlantic Ocean, it is important to honor the Earth's natural flow and rhythms. Centuries ago, the original native inhabitants of the Island, the Wampanoag, understood the importance of the island's natural state and worked in harmony with its ecosystem.
We will gather at the Moors at Altar Rock, where Altar Rock on Nantucket Island is significant as it's one of the highest points on the island, reaching 108 feet above sea level.
