About the event
During this special gathering, representatives from the ancestral traditions of the Sierra Nevada—the Kogi, Wiwa, and Arhuaco peoples—will share their sacred practices for restoring harmony and maintaining balance between humanity and Mother Earth.
Participants will learn about Aluna Zhiguashi from the Kogi, who live in the high mountain regions of the Sierra Nevada. This practice purifies our thoughts, emotions, and energies so that harmony may be restored within ourselves, our communities, and the living Earth.
Through the sacred practice of Aluna Zhigoneshi, participants are guided in recognizing and releasing thoughts, emotions, fears, worries, memories, and energetic burdens that contribute to imbalance within ourselves and the collective.
