Ocean Blessing Ceremony with the Mamos & Zagas

We invite you to a deeply sacred and heart-opening gathering at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean on Long Beach Island, New Jersey, held in collaboration with Firefly Gallery and Yoga Bohemia.

Guided by the Mamos and Zagas—the spiritual leaders of the Kogi, Wiwa, Arhuaco, and Kankuama peoples of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia—this ceremony is an offering to the ocean as the Divine Feminine, the Great Mother, and the source of life itself.

In their tradition, the waters are living, conscious, and foundational to the balance of all life on Earth. The ocean, in particular, is honored as the great womb—the origin of creation, the keeper of memory, and a vital force in maintaining planetary harmony.
